How this policy applies
This policy covers enquiries about cancelling or changing MayaWeb services and requesting a refund. It should be read alongside the accepted proposal, invoice and service agreement, which specify the project’s payment, renewal and cancellation terms.
There is no single automatic refund percentage or notice period stated for every MayaWeb service. Different engagements involve different work, milestones and external commitments. Your rights under applicable law remain unaffected.
How to make a request
Email info@mayaweb.in from the address associated with your project. Include:
- Your name, business and project or invoice reference.
- The service and billing period or milestone involved.
- Whether you want to cancel, pause, change scope or request a refund.
- The reason, relevant dates and any supporting correspondence.
Do not email card numbers, passwords or unnecessary identity documents. Ask for written confirmation of the agreed next step. Sending a request alone does not confirm that a payment has been reversed or a third-party booking has been cancelled.
Monthly and recurring services
For services such as SEO, PPC, social media, content or email marketing, check the agreed notice and renewal arrangements and contact us before the next intended service period. The team will confirm the requested end date, work already scheduled and any remaining obligations under the agreement.
A decision to stop future work is separate from a concern about work already supplied. Completed activities, agreed deliverables and any shortfall should be reviewed against the scope for the relevant billing period.
One-time projects, creative work and bookings
Website, app and game development, design, editing, production, integration and campaign projects may be organised around milestones or reserved resources. If you cancel or pause, the review considers work completed, deliverables supplied, payments received and commitments authorised for that project.
Where a shoot, creator, location, licence or other external resource has been booked, its cancellation conditions may affect the amount recoverable. A rescheduled date or revised scope needs confirmation; it is not automatically included in the original fee.
Advertising spend and third-party charges
Agency service fees and third-party costs are different. Advertising spend, domain registrations, hosting, subscriptions, stock assets, creator payments and similar charges may be paid to independent providers.
Any recovery depends on the provider’s terms, the actual charge and the project agreement. We will distinguish authorised external costs from MayaWeb work when discussing a request. This policy does not declare every third-party cost automatically non-refundable.
Refund review and service concerns
Contact us if you believe a payment is duplicated or incorrect, work has not begun, an agreed deliverable is missing, or the service differs from the accepted scope. The review should address the payment records, approved scope, actual work and applicable rights.
Potential outcomes may include correcting an invoice, completing agreed work, a revised delivery arrangement, a credit or a refund where appropriate. The outcome and calculation will be confirmed in writing. Completed work and documented, authorised commitments may affect the amount, subject to the agreement and law.
Marketing performance should be assessed separately from whether agreed activities were delivered. No guaranteed ranking or revenue target is implied, but this does not remove a remedy for a failure to meet an actual contractual commitment.
Approved refunds and payment disputes
If a refund is approved, the team will confirm the amount, payment route and expected processing time. Your bank, currency conversion or payment provider may affect the time or amount displayed in your account.
Please contact us about a billing concern so the records can be checked. This does not restrict your ability to seek help from a payment provider or exercise a legal right. Relevant proposals, approvals, invoices and delivery records may be used to respond to a dispute.
Access and handover after cancellation
Confirm which files, accounts, reports or completed deliverables are to be handed over and when any managed access should end. Ownership, outstanding fees and handover conditions follow the project agreement and applicable law. Do not assume cancelling agency work also cancels subscriptions held in your own name.
